It's Been Awhile

I haven't written about movies since July, which is the product of me being busy with work and not being too thrilled with the summer in cinema.  In the past few weeks, I have seen some good ones, so I am inspired to punch the keys again.  Here is a list of films I have seen since my last post, with a word or two on what I thought of each:

The Comedy - amazing
Flight - dreadfully awful
Stand-Up Guys - amazing
Seven Psychopaths - really great
Capote - amazing
Jiro Dreams of Sushi - amazingly amazing
A Band Called Death - enjoyable
The Grey - enjoyable
Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie - funny/annoying
Goon - good
The Iron Lady - terrible film/great performance
Pusher (original Winding Refn version) - great
The Avengers - good
Dark Knight Rises - good
Lawless - ok
To Rome With Love - amazing
Glengarry Glen Ross - great
We Bought A Zoo - wholesome
Restrepo - amazing/frightening
The Graduate - amazing
& countless ESPN 30 for 30 documentaries, most of which were entertaining

TV:
Homeland - good, but I am not a super-fan like most people
Dexter - ugh
The Walking Dead - ok
Louie - amazing
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee - amazing
Breaking Bad - great

I am planning on diving deeper on the few that I am most passionate about, namely Jiro Dreams of Sushi and The Comedy.  I have also been assembling my Top Ten of 2012 list, on which several of the above films will certainly appear.
